Weekend Cat Blogging #250: Cats and Coconuts

A couple weeks ago D. and I had coconut ice cream in a Vietnamese/Thai restaurant and it came served in a coconut! Once the (delicious) ice cream done, everyone at the table started thinking about all the things we could do with the shells. Most of them involved pretending to ride horses like in Monty Python, and the rest involved our poor kitties. So we took them home to play...

Private Edgar, off to battle soon...anytime now...or off to sleep, whatever.

The kitties do NOT find this amusing.

"Are you a cat? Or a turtle?"

"Haha, now I control you, evil coconut!"

So, Edgar and Marcel win in the end. As per usual. I think we'll stick with pretending to be horses.

Weekend Cat Blogging
is being hosted this week by Dancing with Billy Sweetfeets! Go and check it out!

Oh and HAPPY SPRING everyone! More about that soon, hopefully, as the weather improves...

  7. They could be the first alien cat species on Star Trek! They always look like regular people with, you know, a big bump on their forehead or a triangular chin. So a regular orange and white tabby cat with a strangely shaped top of the head is perfect! I think we shall call them The Cocochats from the Noix Nebula. Mwaa-ha-haaaa!

  8. Rosa - I know! They're practically adult-sized already.

Camille - It was a minor miracle ;-)

Meezers and Billy - Thanks for stopping by to meet us! I think Edgar and Marcel would be happy to share coconuts for whapping - as long as they don't have to suffer hats anymore!

Jan's Funny Farm - Well you do have to be pretty fast on the trigger :-)

    Nikita Cat - Hehe, thanks!

Dad - Yes, liver long and prosper!
