I've been tagged in blue by Paule of Le Moineau des mots, a relatively new blog that I enjoy because it covers pretty much all of life's important subjects: poetry, photography, science fiction, the New Testament, lesbians, and sometimes all at once! She's just missing a couple recipes to make it perfect, but then I'm biased. So I'm supposed to find 7 blue objects in my house and I decided this was the perfect game to play on a terribly jetlagged day when cooking is dangerous (trust me, I already burned my wrist on breakfast and decided lunch had better be cold). Since I'm supposed to be talking about food here and not colors, I've decided to give you 7 blue things I found in my kitchen.

My most useful bowl is blue. I making almost all my salads in it like this Red and White Quinoa Salad with Fresh Basil.

If you have pasta and salt (of any color) in the house all is not lost for dinner, and they're the start to many good dishes like this Feta and Caramelized Onion Pasta Salad.

Touch of blue around a Summer Fruit Crumble anyone?

When I'm sick of cooking and I want to eat out, I dig in the restaurant cards drawer. Only a couple are blue.

The Hershey's tin that holds some Bonthés et Accessoires tea is blue. As is D's instant decaf and D's favorite herbal tea.

Not to mention the kettle to boil the water in.
Ok I lied. This isn't in my kitchen. But nothing equals ocean blues and I was sad to leave them behind.
